How to become a Siddha doctor?

Step 1
Take Science stream with Biology, Chemistry and Physics

The minimum eligibility for securing admission to any Siddha program is clearing HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board.

Step 2

Admission to BSMS will be based on NEET UG. The duration of this course shall be five years and six months including 12 months compulsory internship.

Step 3
Take MD Siddha

Candidates who are seeking admission to programmes like MD Siddha must qualify AIAPGET by the Ministry of AYUSH, recognized by Govt. of India. The duration of MD Siddha shall be of three years.

Post-graduate course in Siddha Medicine require students to choose a specialisation or major.

Special Point: PostGraduate Diploma Course in Siddha

The period of course for obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Siddha shall be two years.
